Henry Russell Bruce (HRB) was awarded a gold ADDY for Mercy Medical Center in the special event materials campaign category at the recent 40th annual ADDY Awards in Cedar Rapids. HRB also received a silver ADDY in the mixed media campaigns category for Mercy’s Private Room campaign.
The winning entry contained materials for expectant mothers, which included a pregnancy journal and organizer. The Private Room campaign positions the hospital as the only medical facility in the market that offers 100% private rooms, for no additional cost. The campaign included television and print ads, as well as banners on the outside of the hospital.
HRB also won a gold award at the Quad Cities ADDYs for The Iowa Lakes Corridor campaign. The campaign positions the Iowa Lakes Corridor in northwest Iowa as more than just a vacation spot, but also a great place to live and work. The campaign encompassed outdoor billboards, radio spots, sidewalk art, aerial advertising, and multiple PR tactics.
“The ADDY awards is the one time each year the local advertising industry comes together to see the work produced by their peers,” said Steve Erickson, partner and director of creative services at HRB. “It helps to raise the creative bar for everyone.”
