At the end of a very cold, but pretty much snowless week, things have gone well.
First, there was the download from a national training company to the HRB Growth team so that detailed research into the firm’s business and industry could get underway. The end results will be a strategic business and marketing plan in a few weeks.
Next there was the arrival of a new healthcare client that needs some brand and marketing help.
Then, Jeff McEachron, our Senior Vice President who heads up our Web, Internet Marketing and Social Media group, made a presentation on “Manage Your Brand Online … or Someone Else Will” to a large group at the Cedar Rapids Chamber of Commerce board room. The presentation included a lengthy discussion of the value of Social Media and prompted many questions. Jeff pointed out that companies in the Midwest have been slower at adopting social media than the coastal parts of our nation. He is educating and explaining social media to people to help remove the fear of implementing it.
Jeff also visited with a major healthcare facility well outside our market area to discuss some marketing and Web needs.
Our creative team was busy working on some corporate branding projects that we can’t discuss yet, buy you’ll see them implemented in the Cedar Rapids market in the near future. These projects include branding, messaging, graphic design, public relations, animation, Web, video and even more. These projects are a good fit for us, because they take advantage of the full range of services we offer.
We are seeing quite of an increase business over the course of the last several months. I think this is a sign of things to come for not just us, but also HRB clients.
