HRB’s Week in Review – February 26th

February 26th, 2010 by Categories: News

HRB Week In Review Feb26Kids really do say the darnedest things. Last week HRB hosted a group of eighth grade students from West Middle School in Anamosa for a Career Day tour, as part of a Kirkwood Community College program.  After the tour, we received letters from the kids thanking us. “I enjoyed the tour you gave us. I liked it when you asked us which logo we liked best (HRB is undergoing its own re-branding process). I learned some stuff about ad companies thanks to you people.” How sweet it is to get letters from eighth graders. Thanks for visiting us West Middle School.

This week also generated a new name, logo and brand identity for a new client in Iowa City. To help them roll-out their new brand we will be managing and marketing a trade show, designing and programming a new Web site, and creating collateral marketing materials. The time frame is short, but that’s when HRBers do their best work.

The re-branding of one of the world’s largest architecture/engineering firms is getting ready to be rolled out. This week we received approval on a new logo and other brand identity materials.

A financial institution client in Coralville is ready to begin the public relations phase of its re-branding effort. We began with a new logo, a promotion, and television advertising. Public relations is a perfect next step as they strive to gain market share in the area.

An international executive transportation company is liking its new marketing brochure prepared by our creative department and graphic designers. Our designers are crafting a new design for their Web site to be rolled out in April.

As always, our Internet operations group had a busy week. Currently they are working on Web sites for a regional attorney’s office with two locations in eastern Iowa, a Web site for one of the nation’s largest enrollment management companies and a Web site for a leader in the asphalt paving industry.

Some other projects we worked on this week include banner advertisements and animation for a Fortune 500 company, email marketing, ghost blogging and social media marketing for several clients, an Estee Lauder advertisement and several other creative projects.

As always, we continue to manage media advertising for both regional and nation companies.

Looking back it really was a busy and fun week, but they almost always are.
