It's a good thing that HRB employees are allowed to work from home. Today, almost the whole state of Iowa woke up to mass amounts of snow, and in most parts (including Cedar Rapids and Iowa City) it is still snowing. According to KWWL, the total snow accumulation so far in Cedar Rapids is 10.3 inches and in Iowa City (where I live) it is 7.3 inches. There are numerous cancellations today including classes at the University of Iowa and travel is not advised through most of the eastern portion of the state. I don't remember winter ever being as eventful as it has been this year. This winter has felt like the movie Groundhog's Day; everyday it is either snowing or the temperature is below zero and according to Punxsutawney Phil, we still have six more weeks of winter. YUK!!!! Does he ever not see his Shadow?
