If you walk into HRB at around 2:30 on any given day, there is a good chance you might mistake it for a movie theater because of the aroma of popcorn. I swear since the beginning of my internship, I have probably gained about 10 pounds. There are always tasty snacks and treats of all kinds for the HRB staff. This is in large part due to Rochelle and her motto “At HRB, we never starve.” But once a month when we have our agency meeting, other HRB staff members bring in treats to celebrate birthdays. Well, this morning we had our agency meeting, and since there are no birthday’s in March, we had treats to celebrate Steve’s anniversary date and the great work that everyone at HRB has been doing. Steve has been at HRB for just as long as I have been alive – 22 years. Today’s treats included nacho cheese dip, mint cake, chocolate chip cookies, and muffins. MMMMMmmmm…..

    

    Unfortunately, next week I will be back at home in Chicago for Spring Break, and I will have to miss out on the next round of celebrating which will include the HRB Egg Hunt and the St. Patrick’s Day party. Hopefully Rochelle will take some good pictures so I can post them with my next blog.
