A staple of everyday life, utility companies require a high level of customer engagement and support. They have to tell their story to the public. They have to ask for rate increases from time to time. And, they have to address power outages and ice storms, natural gas price increases and other complicated issues in a highly regulated environment. Over the years, HRB’s clients have included Alliant Energy (electricity) and MidAmerican Energy (gas), both of whom have added wind energy to their portfolios. We have developed public relations campaigns and advertising for wind energy programs, as well as the traditional side of these utilities.
Transportation
CRST International, Inc. is one of the largest privately-held transportation companies in the United States. This major trucking company has been a client of HRB for most of the past 30 years. Through its five operating companies, CRST provides a broad array of transportation solutions, including van, flatbed and dedicated, as well as brokerage, transportation management services and high value product white glove moving services. CRST’s operating companies are made up of CRST Expedited, Inc., CRST Malone, Inc., CRST Dedicated Services, Inc., CRST Logistics, Inc. and Specialized Transportation, Inc. We created advertising, direct mail and 3-dimensional direct mail for the company to generate awareness and leads. And, we’ve drafted news releases to launch new divisions or operating units, as well as important newly hired executives.
We’ve also handled advertising and special promotions and events for the Eastern Iowa Airport and the Quad Cities International Airport, and some carriers such as Allegiant Airlines.
