The Office of Compliance and Ethics (OCE) S3IR 2010 Recognition of Excellence honors ADM manufacturing facilities that have achieved the highest level of performance in the areas of colleague safety and health, product quality and safety and environmental stewardship. The“S3IR” acronym stands for the basic concepts of safety for its people, our products and our environment and also the core values which help it achieve those goals: Integrity and Responsibility.
OCE wanted an icon that reflected the meaning behind the award and bring to the forefront that it is the people who achieve this honor. The identity would be used on print materials, the web and even as a part of the award.
